B^‘ Education, Inc. is an exciting, fast-paced company focused on the high growth sector or private, postsecondary education. The Company owns and operates 23 nationally accredited schools throughout California and Nevada. Our Corporate offices are in Whittier, CA. B^‘ is seeking a Systems Administrator to implement the production deployment of a Web based school management system to multiple sites. The role includes administration of the Linux/JBoss/PostgreSQL based solution on the Amazon ED2/S3 hosting platform; deployment of the solution including integration into existing systems; and providing feedback to our engineering team to ensure that the solution continues to meet our requirements. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: Extensive knowledge of CentOS and RHEL in production environments, preferable in the context of a hosted service with paying customers 'Experience securing and maintaining the security of Web facing Linux systems Experience with n-tier Web applications, Apache, PostgreSQL and JBoss Application Server The ability to interact with users ina professional manner Experience providing feedback to engineering teams in order to improve both product quality and feature set Experience with Amazon Web Services and EC2/S3 would be a plus The ability to write code/scripts to aid with data integration would be a plus B^‘ offers an excellent benefits pacakage including a 401(k) plan.
