Job Description:
This company is seeking an experienced Brand Director to drive one of the world's leading toy company's portfolios of existing and new interactive products. This person will be responsible to drive the development and execution of a long-term strategic plan, global marketing initiatives, and divisional P^• s for this company's portfolio of interactive products. Responsibilities will also include building and leading a team of brand Manager assigned to specific brand segments. Support the creation of and execute strategic plans for this company s Interactive brands, including: New products and extensions to current products New revenue streams and business models Marketing Programs and Partnerships New Licenses Hybrid platforms including toy retail components. - Support and help to direct all associated marketing activities, including licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, pricing, costing, and profitability analysis - Collaborate with brand Manager across this company s toy portfolio, developing interactive platforms to support existing brands per strategic road map. - Assist in product development activities and processes. - Administer the critical path analysis process, ensuring all time lines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and all parties are informed of key information as required Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Design, Graph Design, Sales, Planning) as well as with outside partners (vendors, licensors, inventors) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development to ensure the smooth running of all projects under your care - Continually monitor kids and interactive entertainment business trends, identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations to drive business objectives. - Quantify and track brand health and performance and work with cross-functional teams to increase metrics to achieve established goals. - Lead tactical execution with support of cross-functional teams to execute brand initiatives and implement marketing plans. - MBA required - 5 years interactive or gaming industry brand management experience required - Toy or kid's consumer products industry experience a plus - Exceptional communication and organizational skills - Business Development or Strategic Planning experience preferred - Strong Passion for interactive entertainment - Strong leadership qualities - Entrepreneurial Spirit
